Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation

Blue Dragon works with families living in extreme poverty, on boats, in tents or shacks, who cannot afford to send their children to school. Blue Dragon provides individualised programming for the most disadvantaged children to break the cycle of poverty through helping them to re-engage with education and training, while supporting their physical, social and psychological needs.

Little Smarty’s is an ethical business guided by the principles of the International Fair Trade guidelines. We work together with organisations and companies that provide training and employment opportunities for disadvantaged groups. By purchasing a little Smarty’s product you will contribute to the sustainable lively-hood of those less privileged. Little Smarty’s works with groups supporting people with disabilities and victims of poverty.

We are currently working with:

	Lan Handicrafts Lan Handicrafts is a small profit business employing disadvantaged and handicapped young people, helping them to learn a marketable skill and provide a much needed income for them and their families. Lan Handicrafts also works with women who are living in extremely difficult circumstances. The company’s aim is to promote self-reliance for all their employees. All staff are paid fair wages and have the choice to work from home or at the workshop.
	Vietnam-Quilts Vietnam Quilts is a non-profit, community development project. The project trains and employs women in rural areas of Vietnam, where employment is seasonal and can require the women to leave their families for extended time. Vietnam Quilts aims to give these women permanent work, with a regular income in their own village.
